As we announced last month, the Co-Presidents of the International Society of Public Law (ICON-S) have authorized the creation of a Committee on Early-Career Scholars. The charge of the Committee is to produce a report on what more ICON-S can do as an institution to support junior scholars.
At this stage, the Committee invites all interested persons to complete a short survey to help us prepare our recommendations. The survey period opens now and will close on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, 5pm New York/Toronto time. The survey is available here.

It will be helpful if the Icon as important and wellknown association may get sponsors who support with grants the costs of flights and accomodation for the young scholars, especially, to can attent the annual Seminars.
Also, the requirement to pay for the subcription before get the admission of the paper or panels, could imply an innecessary invest of money to the junior scholars whose paper don’t be admitted.
Last point regarding the share of informarion to can fix panels. Usually just the seniors professors know enough sholars around the world to can proppose a full-formed panel. I as young scholar don’t have the networking yet. Thus, Icon can create a data base of paper or panel proposals prior of the deadline to submit in order to give us the option to contact other scholars to work together in a full-formed panel.
