Richard Albert, Boston College Law School

The official launch of the International Society of Public Law will coincide with the Society’s Inaugural Conference on “Rethinking the Boundaries of Public Law and Public Space,” to be held in Florence, Italy, on June 26–28, 2014.

The opening session will be held at Palazzo Vecchio, the historic town hall of Florence, and the remaining sessions will take place at the European University Institute and the University of Florence.

Conference organizers are pleased by the overwhelming response to the creation of the new Society. Hundreds of scholars from around the world have joined the Society. If you would like to join the Society, you may do so online here.

Conference attendees are asked to confirm their attendance here by May 31, 2014. Attendees are also asked to book accommodations immediately, as late-June is high season in Florence. A list of affiliated hotels is available here.
